We meet or exceed every applicable HIPAA regulation. In fact in one of our facilities the compliance officer actually uses on of our client's user licenses. Our HIPAA classification is "Business Associate" and we have posted all applicable laws on our site. Simply select "HIPAA LAWS" from our menu. In addition, we would like to stress two important points. One is that while HIPAA only requires 40-bit encryption, our site utilizes 128-bit for all transmissions between us. Second, we have a very firm and simple policy regarding data sharing; we do none of it with anyone for any reason, period.
We meet or exceed every JCAHO requirement and we are proud to report that we have not only been through and passed a JCAHO inspection with one of our member hospitals but we helped them pass with flying colors. It is really quite simple; if you use our system you will have a turnkey method to instantly guarantee that your pharmacy and drug administration methods will sail through your next JCAHO inspection.
In any facility or private practice "time is of the essence". Our system takes many steps in the interest of speed and one of those is the ability to prescribe up to twenty individual drugs to a single patient in one very fast step. In fact in many cases all twenty drugs may be prescribed in as little as 30 seconds.
The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) demands absolute perfect with the reports that must be filled by hospitals and clinics throughout Florida. Our system gives you the edge you need. Simply send the raw data to us and we will scan it for all possible errors and report back to you. Further, you can send data as often as needed rather than only once a quarter and most importantly we never send letters to the CEO or threaten to fine you.
Our Allergy List is the most extensive in the industry. It is now approximately 2,300 items long covering every known possibility. Now we realize working from a list this large can be cumbersome so we take this a step further. With our system you can create your own list of allergies to get a more streamlined and more specific list that more closely fits your patient base. Simply add an allergen to any patient and tell the system to also add it to your list.
This function automatically runs a drug interaction screening on the patient's entire profile as you enter the prescription worksheet. Without causing any loss of speed the system reports the number of warnings found along with their severity levels. You can quickly click the "Interaction" button and see the complete results and/or click the "Levels & Tests" button to review the severity levels, tests performed and patient data considered in our drug interaction process. NOTE: This function will not return results if the patient's profile is incomplete such as no height or weight.
This feature is critically important and insures that you never inadvertently prescribe a drug that has either expired or been discontinued by the FDA. The system will prompt where needed so that you can delete that drug from your list and add a current one at your convenience.
This function allows you to pick a time and date prior to the patient's next scheduled appointment to send the patient a reminder via email or text messaging. In addition you can include text to remind the patient to bring certain items such as their current medications. You can also have our system copy your office at the same time.
In most states Class II and Class III drugs require special handling such as hand signed versus an electronic signature, prescribed on separate sheets of paper, etc. Our system makes sure you will never miss one by advising on the "Prescription Work Sheet" that a given drug is Class II or Class III thus allowing you to take whatever steps the law requires.
Every facility and practice has different needs and one size never fits anyone let alone "All". In keeping with this ideal our system let's you set defaults and parameters, turn functions on off and customize the prescription being sent to pharmacies on your behalf. We truly become an extension of you rather than forcing you to get used to us.
This database gives you it all. First our full list, which is housed under our Drug Product and Pricing list from Redbook, gives you all the current drugs plus those recently discontinued by the FDA for one reason or the other. Total present size is just under 196,000. From this list we extract the active medications and it is from this list you will prescribe and create your own "Most Prescribed List", Medication Order Set" and "Formulary List". Total present size is just over 95,00. In both of our lists you will find every prescription drug, over the counter drug, alternative medication, vitamin and herb.
This function allows you to easily view and/or print the patient's entire prescription history from a single and concise document. Further, it is from this history document that you can use a single mouse click to engage the refill functions.
Many facilities and practices want the ability to discontinue drugs that a patient is taking and record this fact in their file. We not only make this extremely fast and simple but we also add the ability to simply reprint any medication if needed. Additionally you can set your parameters so that a drug must be discontinued prior to it being removed from a patient's active list. This helps insure that any drug interaction test will test everything the patient is currently on. And lastly, the system will notify two separate locations of the discontinue order such as the nursing station and the pharmacy.
Complete (ours) vs. Partial (theirs) We believe that in order for CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) to be a complete and true system it must be accessible from anywhere. Anything less is merely a partial solution. If you have CPOE in your facility or practice and yet physicians are still being called or paged to prescribe drugs over the phone then what you have is basically the same thing you had before investing in your system only now the nurses put what the physician says into a computer screen rather than on paper. However, the transfer of information from physician to nurse has not changed. Our system is completely different. Since our system is completely web-based all of your physicians can access the data on any patient from anywhere. They will have ALL the data they need such as the patient's current regimen, case notes, past prescriptions, etc. to make a solid decision on each case plus important tools such as drug interaction to double check themselves. And all of this can be accessed from their office, home, wireless laptop, or anywhere they have access to a computer with a high-speed connection.
We are fond of saying, "one size does not fit all" so we stand ready to build custom reports to suit your many needs. And we do not take months to complete them or charge thousands and thousands of dollars. All custom report writing is fast and very affordable. Just ask us.
Our system is designed to fit you like a glove and our "Pharmacy List" is an excellent example. Here you can determine whether you will email or fax the prescription to the pharmacy or send the data to create a label or be imported directly into a local system. And like all of our lists there is no limit as to the number of entries.
Before you put any drug on a patient's profile you will instantly see what it's DEA Class Code is. For your convenience there is an instant help screen available to remind of the definition of each code if you need it.
This has tremendous value when prescribing to those patients that do not mind their prescriptions sent directly to the pharmacy but would still also like a copy. In addition, this works extremely well when sending Class II or Class III drugs to the pharmacy. Please take note of the following: 1) The prescribing physician would use our system to create the prescription and either fax or email it to the pharmacy of the patient's choice. We are aware that many states have laws prohibiting the dispensing of Class II and/or Class III drugs based on an electronically delivered prescription but no state law prohibits the physician from notifying the pharmacy in advance of the patient bringing the hand signed version. Further, no state law prohibits the pharmacy from preparing the prescription in advance of the patient's arrival in an effort to enhance customer service and store efficiency. 2) Our system automatically notates where and when the prescription was sent on the bottom of the printed prescription directly above the area where the physician will sign. This allows the physician to further enhance security by letting some portion of their signature overwrite this time/destination stamp. This simple step dramatically increases the difficulty to copy their signature. In addition, the time/destination stamp does three things: 4) Finally, the prescription delivered by the patient containing the physician's original signature should be treated by the pharmacy as a "claim check" meaning the patient must exchange it for the actual prescription. The faxed or emailed copy can simply be discarded and the signed original becoming the pharmacies permanent record.
Most diagnoses have little or no effect on the body's physiology, thus are not listed on our default list of diagnostic indicators. In these cases you can enter the diagnosis in the diagnosis area. However, we recommend selecting from our default list first and only enter those diagnoses in our diagnosis section in the event said item is not on our default list. Client's can request we load their entire diagnosis list. They simply need to send it to us.
Our diagnostic indicator list consists of those conditions that can adversely affect a patient's drug regimen. The list is included with our system and requires no added work from you except to enter each relevant indication on the patient's profile as needed. This will insure our system considers any relevant diagnostic indicators when performing tests such as dug interaction.
Where the data is available the system will present maximum, minimum and appropriate interval recommendations as well as other dosing assistance.
This feature will help keep you current with JCAHO latest requirements. JCAHO requires a double check of medications removed from floor stock supply. This features allows you to enter or scan the NDC Number of each dosage unit of medication (tablet, capsule, etc.) removed from floor stock to verify its identity. In addition, this feature provides nurses with valuable data on the medication from MICROMEDX Drug Points database as well as the ability to print patient instructions in either English or Spanish to be given directly to the patient. Additionally, many manufacturers trim and/or mal-form NDC Numbers is various ways. This feature has been written to interpret these mal-formations and present you with correct answer despite this problem.
This is the Medication Advisory Screening and Interaction function. The following compliment of 14 tests are performed:
Screening data consists of over 7,000 monographs on more than 13,000 interactions that are ingredient and route specific. Severity levels are Major, Moderate, Minor, and Contraindicated. NOTE: Many of the individual warnings contain more in-depth data relative to the warning provided. In such cases, the warning itself becomes a link and clicking shows the balance of data available. Clicking this warning again will hide the data again.
We had participated in a grant with the University of Colorado to study patient safety in prescribing and one of the strongest points to come from the study was our implementation of a drug purpose with every drug. While it is only a brief phrase to state why the drug is being prescribed its contribution to patient safety is enormous. And in the interest of speed your list of drug purposes can be created as you prescribe and then after that you can simply pick from your list.
This function is geared towards those offices that wish to acquire an Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) in the future. EMR's can be very costly and moreover they provide very little value until they are complete seeded with your patient data. Using our system in the meantime allows you to gradually enter all your patient data and then when you acquire the EMR, we can download your data and get your EMR seeded immediately.
With no more than a single click of the mouse you can order our servers to immediately forward the prescription you have just written to any pharmacy, anywhere either via fax or email. Plus you can also print that same prescription and give it to the patient as well.
This is a necessary tool for any pharmacy. Our system will print you a comprehensive list of the drugs needed to satisfy each patient's drug orders over a given number of days. Further, our system also checks to see if the particular prescription is scheduled to end within the period of the report. If so it provides a second number, which is that quantity, needed only until the orders end date. This report may be generated by individual patient, wing or all wings.
In the medical community, it's universally accepted MICROMEDEX of Thompson Healthcare supplies the "Gold Standard" of drug interaction data. We at the Center for Drug Safety firmly believe that when it comes to the health of your patients, nothing less than the absolute best will do. The drug database is made up of almost 200 sections and all of them are updated at least every 30 days. This is also the single most comprehensive database available and it consists of over 95,000 potentially interacting medications. We list every FDA approved prescription drug, over the counter drug, alternative medication, vitamin and herb. Covering any less would be irresponsible. Please note that over 20,000 of these are prescription medications.
The latest JCAHO rules require a double check of medications removed from floor stock supply. Our system has tied this to the floor stock inventory. As the nurse enters or scans the NDC number of each dosage unit of medication (tablet, capsule, etc.) removed from floor stock into the system, two things occur at the same time. One is that JCAHO's double check requirement has been met and two, the drug has been noted removed from the floor stock. Later when needed, this report can be generated in the pharmacy to accurately replenish the floor stock.
This function allows you to create your individual formulary list. This will create a third list on the patient profile screen along with the Main and Most Prescribed lists. In the interest of speed our system will find the closest drugs by name to the name or partial name entered. In addition we will add the 1,000 records following your match in alphabetical order. This method is extremely fast allowing you to create your custom Formulary List in no time at all.
All users may have a free email address on our mail server. This has many benefits, including built-in virus protection, span protection, calendaring, private and shared address books, reminder service, and 128-bit encryption. In addition our email addresses may be accessed through your local email client software such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora and any other email client plus our mail can be accessed via the web from anywhere. For multiple license users we can even set email addresses that restrict users to only emailing within your organization. And remember this service is FREE to all professional users.
Yes you read correctly, our technical support line is free, even the call is free. However, free technical support is strictly limited to our standard technical support hours and non-emergency calls outside of those hours are billed at $175.00 per hour. Technical Support Number: 719-302-5411 Emergency After Hours Number: 719-598-1389
Any prescription generated by our system may be printed in addition to faxing or emailing. To keep these prescriptions secure they have very colorful watermarks behind the important drug data on the prescription. For your convenience you will see this in full color and exactly as the patient will see once it is printed. And of course for added security it is always recommended that you print the prescriptions you hand to patient in color.
This function allows you to quickly search the entire database of active drugs for suitable generics. This is very useful when you need to match a given pharmacy's formulary. Also we include the price per dose with each generic drug found. For your patients that may have to shoulder all or most of the cost of the drug this can be a great help them.
This function allows you to locate ingredient names or generic names for drugs that are otherwise not listed in our main drug database. There are many instances in which physicians prescribe the drug by its primary ingredient or its generic name. Since many drugs can have the same active ingredient, this function can be very useful and you will find the link to this tool right where you will need it, in the patient's profile.
There are no extra steps to get generics and therapeutic class matches on any drug. Just request it while you are working on a given drug and within a minute you will have all the answers you'll need.
This function identifies products that may be excluded from coverage by certain third-party insurers. Codes employed in this field denote the excluded category into which the product falls. The status will appear on every drug and right where you need it is instant access to the code legend.
For this we wish to dispel some long held beliefs that interfacing is both expensive and complicated. The truth is that the only truly difficult part of interfacing is the transportation between the two systems wishing to communicate. The Internet has forever solved that problem. The rest is simply a matter of basic pitch and catch. At regular intervals (decided by each client) your system need only create a simple text file of the data that has been recently changed and send it to us. Our system will immediately import this data and by doing the same in reverse each system stays current with the other. A simple date/time stamp with each record insures the latest data is never overwritten. Our way is fast, efficient and best of all transparent. It works on its own in the background and will require no user input. With cooperation from your IT staff or systems vendor we can be set to go in a few days, not weeks and for very little money.
This function provides rapid, user friendly answers to questions regarding physical compatibility of parenteral medications. The system contains data on over 16,000 possible medication-solution combinations and detects problems with single drug and multiple drugs in solution before they occur. It also provides critical information about the storage of intravenous admixtures. The information is presented in the following easy to read format:
2) Stability data for the combined solutions 3) A list of recommended alternatives in the event of a conflict.
In addition to the normal specifications of the prescription such as drug, strength dose, and refills, we also give you a large note section per drug in which to write additional details for your patient and the pharmacists. This greatly enhances safety and helps insure the patient thoroughly understands how to handle and administer the medication.
As you will notice with many of our features speed is always a consideration. We are acutely aware of the need for speed and we take all the steps possible to minimize the time needed for any given function. However, we never sacrifice patient safety, accuracy or efficiency in the name of speed.
Our unique method of data transfer is simple and effective. You may request our system send you the data needed to create MAR reports and labels as well as labels for bottles. To further enhance the usability of this function, you control the specifications. Once the specifications are set our system will send the data to suit you. In addition, since you control it you can change the specs at any time. Data is sent in Standard Data Format (SDF) also known as "Fixed Length" either as the body of an email or a text file attachment to an email. Text files are named according to a date/time stamp followed by .txt.
In addition to using our system to prescribe drugs, you can also use our system to prescribe non-medication orders such as labs, dietary, physical therapy, etc. However, the most important part is you can link these non-medication orders or sets of orders to drugs on your Most Often Prescribed Drug List or to drugs within a Medication Order Set. Doing so will cause our system to automatically forward you to the appropriate Non-Medication Order prescription screen immediately following the prescribing of the linked drug or drugs.
This feature is all about speed and accuracy and very similar to your Most Prescribed List with the additional benefit of grouping drugs together under a common name usually the diagnosis the medication order set is aimed at. This feature lets you create your own list of grouped most prescribed drugs and additionally allows you to save all the corresponding defaults such as, strength, dose, interval, route, dispense quantity, refills, range, notes, specificity level and even the number of days the patient has to fill the prescription before it expires. Plus you can have this function automatically add any drug being added to a medication order set to your most prescribed list simultaneously.
Arguably the most famous and most comprehensive of drug information databases is MICRMEDEX DrugDex product. In some instances there can be as many as 150 pages of information on a single drug. Clearly that is too much for busy facilities and practices to deal with so MICROMEDEX has created Drug Points, which effectively are the important highlights from DrugDex.
This feature is all about speed and accuracy. This feature lets you create your own list of most prescribed drugs and additionally allows you to save all the corresponding defaults such as, strength, dose, interval, route, dispense quantity, refills, range, notes, specificity level and even the number of days the patient has to fill the prescription before it expires. Further, you can create numerous customized warnings and have the system automatically determine dose and frequency according to the patient's weight, age, or Serum Creatinine count. And there is more as you may have the system remind you to additionally prescribe lab work needed with the safe prescribing of a given drug.
Safety and accuracy cannot be achieved without paying attention to the details so all of our prescriptions carry a wealth of information. But do not be alarmed, the system does virtually all the work so your time will not be stretched. Every prescription includes the following:
Complete Information on the Patient Attending Physician's Name (inpatient only) Patient's Wing (inpatient only) Notations as to any Allergies or Relevant Diagnostic Indicators Plus every drug includes:
Complete Drug Name and Strength NDC Number Security Code Number of Days the Patient has to get the Prescription Filled Route Does Interval Range Dispense Quantity Refill Quantity Specificity Level Note Section Plus in addition to all of this there are several switches to:
Mark Drugs PRN Add Drug to Fill List Add Drug and ALL Defaults to your Most Prescribed List.
When you become a new user we will train you at no additional charge. In cases where there are multiple users we ask that you designate one to three people to learn from us and subsequently train your staff. Technical Support Number: 719-302-5411 Emergency After Hours Number: 719-598-1389
Beyond only prescribing drugs our system also allows you to prescribe Non-Medication Orders such as laboratory work, physical therapy, dietary needs and more. In addition, you can use the non-medication order set section to create sets of non-medication orders. And most importantly you can link these non-medication orders or sets of orders to drugs on your Most Often Prescribed Drug List or to drugs within a Medication Order Set. Doing so will cause our system to automatically forward you to the appropriate Non-Medication Order prescription screen immediately following the prescribing of the linked drug or drugs. And as with drug prescriptions these may be faxed or emailed to any facility, company or entity needed.
This is another feature that is dedicated to helping you work faster. When viewing a patient's drug profile you can instantly see whether or not the patient's allergies and/or diagnostic indications have been checked and if yes, are there allergies or indications to review prior to prescribing the medication.
This is all about added safety. If the patient's profile reflects that the patient has allergies or diagnostic indications so will the prescription thus notifying the pharmacist or the attending nurse as well. It will also indicate "No" or "Not Verified" when applicable.
This will report by unit which nurse entered or scanned which drugs out of floor stock to help insure compliance with JCAHO standards and maintain accurate inventory control. Further, some simple mathematics will indicate which nurses are not following procedures.
Any of your patients can have access to their own profile and have all the same tools available to professionals with the exception of the ability to prescribe medication. This completely unique approach promotes patient involvement in their own care and adds one other great benefit for physicians. Patients tend to load every drug they are taking into our system. This gives the physician a much better picture of the patient's drug regimen then they might otherwise know from simply asking the patient.
Unlike most companies that insist you conform to them we will let you send the data in whatever format is easiest for you. We work for you not the other way around. When you or your organization become a new user we will gladly get you started by pre-loaded all your existing patient data so there is not need to enter it all by hand. Generally this includes all patient demographic data and vitals such as height, weight, age and sex. However this is not to say other data such as historical data and more cannot also be entered.
We store a tremendous amount of data on each patient for you and we continue to add items. For now you can store the following:
Weight Height Serum Creatinine Count Hepatic - Yes or No Lactating - Yes or No Pregnant - Yes or No Smoker - Yes or No List of Allergies List of Diagnostic Indicators List of Diagnoses Medications taken, with Dose, Route and Frequency Blood Pressure Temperature Cholesterol Blood Sugar Case Notes - a bottomless section for Medical Notes History of Prescriptions List of Medical Professionals treating the patient
JCAHO standards dictate that all prescriptions must be reviewed by a qualified professional and soon only by pharmacists within two hours of the writing of the prescription. This function places all pending prescriptions on this Pending List, which can be accessed from anywhere. Once the prescription is reviewed and approved the pharmacist or other medical professional reviewing the prescription can easily release it and have it either go when the original prescribing physician intended or if needed they can select a different destination. When necessary the prescribing physician can circumvent the pending list by marking the prescription "Stat".
JCAHO standards dictate that all prescriptions must be reviewed by a qualified professional and soon only by pharmacists within two hours of the writing of the prescription. When there is a problem with a prescription rather than simply delete it and re-write it, certain items can be changed to satisfy any concerns and then the pharmacist or other medical professional reviewing the prescription can easily release it.
By making additional use of the Pending List physicians can have the staff create the prescription and he can simply review them from the Pending List and then release them to go to be faxed or emailed to the pharmacy. This function is ideal for the busy practice.
In any facility or private practice there is a list of medications that would qualify as drugs "most often prescribed". Our system not only allows you create this list as you prescribe but once a drug is on the list it can be added to the patient's list and prescribed with a single mouse click. This is another one of our features designed to enhance and dramatically increase your speed.
Our system takes the problem of prescription fraud very seriously and we believe it is our responsibility to everything we can to prevent it. We invite you to read our complete section on this subject under the physician/dentist section of our home page.
Simply put, our system carefully catalogs the patient's entire history including all the prescriptions you have administered to them. This includes their history of refills that are carefully cataloged under the original prescription information they are associated with. Further all of this can be printed easily and whenever it is needed. All of this information prints with header information about the patient, their current drug regimen, their allergies, diagnostic indications, diagnoses and other general data such as sex, height and weight.
Many attempts are made to acquire prescriptions through false pretences. Our system employs a system of checks and balances designed to prevent all types of fraud. When you receive a prescription from one of our clients, the prescription will contain a "Security Code." Simply enter that code and click "Search." If the prescription is legitimate and has not expired a file will be returned itemizing the data contained on the prescription sheet. By making a quick comparison of the printed versus online file you can be assured the printed version is accurate. There is NO Cost to pharmacies to make use of this service.
Our prescriptions are coded with the ability to print a multicolored watermark behind each prescription given to the patient. This goes a long way towards deterring prescription fraud and also saves you the cost of purchasing prescription pads. To further enhance security, the printed prescription will also indicate which pharmacy and when the prescription had been faxed or emailed to.
Any data on the patient can be printed and while this should be no great surprise, what is noteworthy is that all patient data and reports can be first formatted into crisp and clear pages for printing that include minor but nonetheless well placed uses of colored text to enhance readability.
This can be a tremendous benefit for the patients. You can keep all the information on your organization in the patient's own file. Data such as your organization's name, address, phone, fax and email. For those patients choosing to also register with us to become involved in maintaining their own care, this can be invaluable.
We understand that changing to a new system can be a bit unsettling so we developed this preview screen. It presents the prescription in a way that is more familiar than our modern electronically generated prescription layout. It makes the transition from paper prescribing to e-prescribing easier and smoother.
The backbone relational file linking all data elements and clinical functions in the MICROMEDEX Suite of databases, the RED BOOK database covers 200,000 prescription and nonprescription pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and bulk chemicals for compounding. Additionally, you will find manufacturer and pricing information including wholesale pricing, rebate notices generic codes and more.
When you need to refill a prescription you can call up the patient's history and select the original prescription you wish to refill. Simply click it once and all the fields will automatically populate and the prescription is absolutely ready to go. Further, non-prescribing users have assess to this function which can save physicians a tremendous amount of time.
To satisfy JCAHO standards of a medical professional (such as a pharmacist) reviewing the prescription prior to forwarding it to the pharmacy or nurse's station somehow the pharmacists must see the prescription and patient profile. Our web-based system allows them to see it from anywhere just as physicians can prescribe from anywhere. This dramatically reduces the number of hours you need to pay for and there is no question that when people can work form home rather than drive into work you can pay them less. Our close associate P & T Consulting offers an incredible system of after hours review that is both affordable and turnkey. They provide the pharmacists and we provide the software and when you use our combined solution you only pay for the actual time spent on your work.
If you are looking for a True CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) system then you will need one on which physicians can prescribe drugs and non-medication orders from anywhere. They will need anywhere access to the patient's current regimen, case notes, past prescriptions, etc. and tools such as drug interaction to double-check themselves. Our system is exactly what you need and insures your physicians have the same critical information and tools on every patient they prescribe regardless of where they are when they are called on to write a prescription.
We are completely HIPAA compliant for many reasons not the least of which being our tight security and incredible reliability. We invite you to read our complete section on this subject from our home page.
In order for our system to fit perfectly into your facility or practice we must maintain your custom lists and of course we must give you full control over them. These tools allow you to add, edit and delete any record from any list at any time.
This part of our system focuses on two very important pieces of the system. One is speed and the other is accuracy. This page will self-populate with as much data as it can when you prescribe either drugs or non-medication orders. And when you are prescribing from your lists such as "Most Often Prescribed" even more data is automatically filled. In addition, if you have engaged to "Most Recent Script Override" function then each drug will populate with exactly the data from the last time this drug was written to this patient. As to accuracy, it is here the system will make all the checks necessary to insure the prescription you send will be complete and accurate. Any mistakes will be pointed out to you for correction prior to issuing the prescription.
This will report all the drug orders that are scheduled to end within the date range entered. This report may be generated by individual patient or by wing.
In addition to allowing you to search for your patients by name our system also lets you find them by the number you have assigned to them in your organization. This insures you do not have to learn yet another number for the patient.
Technical support is available from 10:00AM to 6:00PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) - Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Emergency support is available 24 hours a day. However, while our technical support is free, use of our after hours emergency line for non-emergency calls will result in fees of $175.00 per hour being assessed. Technical Support Number: 719-302-5411 Emergency After Hours Number: 719-598-1389
The system supplies the therapeutic/pharmacologic category of the product. This system employs a 10-digit hierarchical code that categories drugs down to the generic ingredient level. This system permits easy identification of all drugs with comparable actions and uses, and allows quick determination of the specific attributes of any drug in a major therapeutic class.
It is imperative that we maintain proper credentials for those prescribing drugs while still allowing others use of non-prescribing functions. Such is the reason for having three levels of users and they are:
Pharmacists Physicians
Within each patient profile you may keep an unlimited quantity of case notes. That's right there is simply no limit to the record and in fact many organizations store all their patient case notes here. In addition, you may keep blood pressure, temperature, cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Further, with one simple click of the mouse you can format the case notes into a printable format ready for hard copy in the patient's file.
The short answer is this: on our site you have unlimited use of all functions. We do not count the number of logins, drug interactions tests, etc. Use the site as much as you like. The only counters relate to those users that bought a finite number of patient profiles, however, even those profiles may be used, edited and tested as much as you want. | ||||||||
