Prescribing of Ancillary Orders

Beyond only prescribing drugs our system also allows you to prescribe Non-Medication Orders such as laboratory work, physical therapy, dietary needs and more. In addition, you can use the non-medication order set section to create sets of non-medication orders. Most importantly you can link these non-medication orders or sets of orders to drugs on your Most Often Prescribed Drug List or to drugs within a Medication Order Set. Doing so will cause our system to automatically forward you to the appropriate Non-Medication Order prescription screen immediately following the prescribing of the linked drug or drugs. And as with drug prescriptions these may be faxed or emailed to any facility, company or entity needed.
